I have been a lifelong multi-sport athlete and dancer as well as an enjoyer of active lifestyle hobbies such as hiking, so I live and breathe the ways that fitness serves a creative purpose in all of our lives.

Animal Flow is a structured series of ground-based movements designed to build strength, mobility, and motor control. A beautiful form of movement both inside and out, many people are intrigued by Animal Flow at first for its visual similarities to yoga and breakdancing, but they fully buy in once they experience the transformation and sense of presence this modality offers within yourself.

Multi Yoga School certifies teachers to be highly prepared with anatomy, physiology, Sanskrit, and cultural awareness through both the reading of ancient texts and the physical practice of yoga beyond asana. They teach both preparation and improvisation. My yoga training prepares me to lead dynamic, fluid, rejuvenating, and thoughtful yoga sessions physically based in healthy movement programming and mentally based in humble but modern readings of the yoga sutras.
By far the most thorough yet radical of my certifications, the AAHPS Level 1 certificate means I am able to coach people on improving their health and movement within the 4Q model of strength training, meaning I know how to move people not only off the couch and into exercise, but from linear exercise into more complex and therefore holistic exercise. Training the body in multiple planes of movement with both bodyweight and heavy weights means the body can adapt to be more resilient and can mimic the nuanced reality of movement in our daily lives, so that we don’t unrealistically pretend that the linear strength training we do is preparing us for sudden forceful complex motion in day to day life.
Though the sound of the name seems to evoke “booty” and the bouncing, twerking, shaking, and posing associated with that part of a human figure, “buti” in Sanskrit actually means “a secret remedy or cure.” A music-driven movement methodology that seems to imply that high intensity booty popping dance moves are indeed a secret remedy or cure for the hard things in life, Buti Yoga incorporates dynamic yoga asana with primal movement, cardio dance bursts, and deep core conditioning. There is plenty of booty shaking in buti yoga, but it’s all about coming together to promote endorphins, oxytocin, and the joy of physical movement.
